Terms

Terms and Conditions

These terms govern distance contracts for physical goods sold by Optic-Vault to consumers in the European Union. Slovak law applies. Mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live remain in force.

Seller

The seller is a sole proprietor (fyzická osoba – živnostník) established in Slovakia.

Business name: Optic-Vault.
Registered business address: Slovensko.
IČO: —. DIČ: —.
Registered in the Trade Register of the District Office Bratislava, Trade Register No.: XXXXXX.

The seller is not a VAT payer. Prices are final amounts in euro and do not have VAT added.

Contract and prices

The product pages describe the pair you are buying, including colour and visible condition. Prices are in euro and include the goods. Delivery is shown separately at checkout before you pay, and it is added to the total. An order is accepted when Stripe confirms the payment. Placing the order creates an obligation to pay that total.

Payment

Payment is by card through Stripe (including Visa and Mastercard). The shop does not store your card number. If payment fails, no contract is formed.

Delivery across the EU

We ship physical goods from Slovakia to every EU country with Packeta, Slovenská pošta, and DPD. At checkout you enter the street, city, and postal code. Home delivery goes to that address. Pickup services use that address so the carrier can assign the nearest point.

We hand the parcel to the carrier within 2 working days after payment. Delivery inside the EU is usually a further 1 to 5 working days, depending on the destination and the carrier. Those times are estimates. If no other date was agreed, the goods will be delivered without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days of the contract. Risk passes to you when you, or a person you appoint, take physical possession of the goods.

Electronic invoices

The buyer agrees to receive invoices in electronic format (PDF via email).

Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, you may withdraw from this distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts the day after you, or a person you appoint, receive the goods. To withdraw, send a clear statement to the contact email published on this website before the 14 days end. You may use the model form on the returns and warranty page.

Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the direct cost of returning them, unless the goods are defective. We refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving your notice. We may wait until we receive the goods, or proof that you sent them, before refunding. The refund uses the same payment method, through Stripe. If you chose a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard option we offered, we refund only the cost of that standard option.

You are liable for any diminished value caused by handling the goods beyond what is necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Wear already described or shown in the listing is the agreed condition of the pair, not damage caused after delivery.

Conformity and complaints

Statutory rules on lack of conformity, including the 24-month period, are set out on the returns and warranty page. Contact us first. You may also contact the supervisory authority: Inšpektorát SOI pre Bratislavský kraj, Bajkalská 21/A, P. O. BOX č. 5, 820 07 Bratislava 27, Slovakia.

Online dispute resolution

EU consumers can read about online dispute resolution at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The European Commission closed that platform on 20 July 2025, so a new case can no longer be filed there. You can still write to us, to the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI), or to the European Consumer Centre in your country.
